Ballet Sapphire or higher level students age 12 and older
who are interested n helping out with a young children's class
may pick up information from the Studio office or view the
web site o learn how to apply for a position.

WHAT'S NEW?

THE BEE RIDGE RD STUDIO IS CLOSING. Although this has been a convenient location for many of our students, we regret that, due to the unfavorable smoke smell that filters into our space from our Bingo neighboer and our inability to eradicate it, we will not be renewing our lease there. All dance classes and music lessons will now be held at our newer, more suitable location at 7313 International Place, Suite 100, Sarasota 34240.

DANCE RECITAL 2011 DVDs are ready for pick up! Stop by during office hours to get yours.
- If you ordered a PHOTO STATUE from "Portraits by Tina" it is being held for you in the Studio office.
- ACRO ADD-ON is now an option for: BASIC DANCE COMBO (15 minutes), and for LEVEL I and II JAZZ/HIP HOP classes(30 minutes). Tumbling skills will enhance your flexibility, coordination, and performing skills!
- JAZZ/HIP HOP BRONZE and SAPPHIRE will be 1.25 hour in order to provide more in-depth training in both syles, and to allow time for choreography in each style. There may also be an optional 30 minute ACRO ADD-ON if enough students are interested.
- LYRICAL ADD-ON (15 minutes) is now an option for students enrolled in BALLET RUBY as a way to introduce that style of dance. Students will have the opportunity to see how ballet dance is the foundation of lyrical and contemporary dance. This add-on will also help the students to decide if lyrical dance is of interest to them for more intensive study in the upcoming years of training.
- BEGINNER MODERN DANCE is offered to students age 11 or older. Prior ballet or jazz training is helpful.
- MS. CARINA IS HAVING A BABY! Due date is in November. She will take maternity leave starting November 1 and will resume teaching after the New Year. If you are a student with Ms. Carina, please let us know if you would like to take a break during November and December, or if you would prefer to continue lessons with a substitute teacher. Thanks!
