Performance Opportunities Dance's a performing art. As such, students should have an experience on stage that helps them develop poise and confidence. Performing entertains the audience while providing students the opportunity to showcase their talent and skill. All students (with the exception of the Mommy and Me classes) have the opportunity to demonstrate what they’ve learned in a costumed performance at the end of the school year. In addition, students may volunteer to perform for organizations and nursing homes in our annual Holiday Shows and as requests arise.

Recital Tickets For each student that is enrolled for the full school year (August - June), he or she gets one free recital ticket! The student must be registered in the class by January, 2011 and participate in the recital to qualify. All other tickets will be approximately $18-20 per seat. We must charge everyone who occupies a seat (yes - even parents and siblings) in order to cover the cost of renting the performance space and the associated expenses: programs, tickets, lighting and sound technicians, stage hands, studio faculty and staff, insurance, equipment, security, custodial services, etc. Tickets usually go on sale approximately one month prior to the performance.

Observation Parents naturally want to see the progress that their child is making in his or her dance studies. In order to provide that opportunity with a minimum distraction to the students, special "Peek Weeks" are set aside two or three times over the course of the school year. At other times parents may watch through the "peek" window of each studio space.
