Hello Music Students and Parents!
Our school year schedule of classes comes to a close this month culminating in the Spring Recital on Sat., May 21. We hope that you have enjoyed your music lessons, that you are seeing an improvement in your technique and performing ability, and that you will continue lessons over the summer.
Summer Lessons
It is important to continue your music training over the summer to maintain your skill and to continue to progress. As with any skill, you lose ground when you take off too much time from your training.
If you have not already done so, please check with your teacher to discuss your and her summer availability. Summer lessons will run for as many weeks as you and your instructor can mutually arrange. You may arrange to take lessons once or twice per week. If you would like to try a new instrument or try lessons with a different instructor, please let the front office staff know.
After discussing schedules with your teacher, please let the front office know your plans for summer lessons as soon as possible. There is no summer registration fee for current students who have already paid the 2010-2011 school year registration fee.

Keepsake Statues $10.00

Sat. May 21 - TWO shows!
This year’s spring music recital will be presented in two shows. We found last year that having all the students perform in one show made for a very long recital! By dividing the students into two groups, each recital will only be about 1 hour long. The first show will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 21 and the second one at 5:30. Please plan to stay after the first show or come early to the second show so that you may take part in a little celebratory reception. (light snacks).
Your student will be in the 3:00 show 5:30 show
and will rehearse Friday, May 20 at 4:00 PM 6:00 PM
The rehearsal and the recital will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Episcopal Church, 8700 SR 72 (Clark Rd, exit 205 off of I-75) about 3 miles east of the highway.
